Welcome to Poems of Place, a website where you're welcome to post poems about the cities and towns of Massachusetts -- poems you've written yourself or those written by others. A dot on the map will indicate which communities that have been represented by at least one poem. There's no strict limit on how long a poem can be, but generally speaking please submit work no longer than a typewritten page.
Please keep in mind that this is a site that will be accessed by schoolchildren. Please note that MassPoetry.org reserves the right to decline a particular poem or to edit for content.
